Laying the Foundations of the New Clevelander Beis Medrash and Yeshiva in Beitar Illit, Israel

At the future site of the Clevelander Beis Midrash in Beitar Illit Beis. We Daven Mincha with the Rebbe and the Rebbe leads us in the reciting of Tehilim and then we read the prayer of King Solomon / Shlomo haMelech in Tanach that he recited upon building the Beis haMikdash

Then the Rebbe reads the Igeres, a letter signifying that we sanctify this place and consecrate to be a Makom leHashraas haShechina, a place where the Divine Presence should dwell, and a place where Hashem should hear and answer our prayers. The Rebbe and all those present sign the letter which is folded placed in a bottle and then added to the foundation. The Rebbe is then the first to scoop the cement and begin laying the foundations afterwards we each take a spade and add cement.

Afterwards we go to the current Clevelander Beis Medrash in Beitar Alef where the Rebbe distributes cake and we wish each other leChayim.
