Enrollment Information for the 1998-99 School Year

The actual cost of educating a student for one year at Northwest Yeshiva is $13,500. Tuition and fees cover less than half of this cost. The remainder must come from individual donations, grants, and constant fundraising.

As recently as 1995-96, the annual tuition charged to families was $7,100 per student. Since that time, thanks to a tuition-reduction program generously funded by the Samis Foundation, the tuition charged to families has been substantially reduced.

Full annual tuition is $3,000 per student. No student is turned-away because of inability to pay this amount. The student's family may apply for a tuition reduction. Registration and other fees, however, must be paid by all families.

Registration is $240 if paid on or before April 1, 1998. This amount reflects a discount for "early registration." After April 1st, registration is $290. A portion of the annual registration fee is assigned to the Student Activity Account. This account defrays the cost of the student attending special school outings, events and other extracurricular activities during the year.

P.E. uniforms are required, and cost $35.

An emergency preparedness fee of $25 is required of new students. This one-time fee allows the school to stock emergency supplies, in case of a severe earthquake or other disaster.
